Chronic stress is the stress stemming from repeated exposure to situations that activates the release of stress hormones. Everyday life stressors and traumatic events that are IGNORED or POORLY MANAGED results in Chronic stress.


Chronic stress can stay unnoticed, as people can become used to it. Our bodies are not designed to handle the constant activation of stress response system. Hence, chronic stress causes wear and tear to the mind and the body.


Research indicates that Untreated or Poorly Managed chronic stress can lead to “Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia, Muscle Pain, Weakened Immune System, Heart Disease, Obesity and Suicide”. Prolonged chronic stress associated with work results in burnout.
